New additions to the team
The team at Ruderal is growing
This year we welcome three new designers to the Ruderal team: Luka Tavzarishvili, Iveta Chxikvadze, and Ana Petriashvili.
Ana's projects at Ruderal include Dighomi Meadows Park in Tbilisi and the Kvareli Lake Resort. Before joining Ruderal, Ana worked on large-scale urban and city planning projects throughout Georgia with Geographic, a multidisciplinary firm based in Tbilisi. At Geographic she completed such projects as the Feasibility study of Tbilisi Cable Car Alternatives; Spatial Planning of Kazbegi Municipality, the Concept of Kutaisi City Master Plan, and Multidisciplinary Research on the Mtatsminda Urban Forest Project. She has experience in preparing construction documentation for hospitality projects in several US States.
Ana holds an M.Arch from Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) in Kaunas, Lithuania, and a B.Arch from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts.
Iveta joins Ruderal from the 2020 Summer Training Program, where she developed a deep interest in plants and ecological relationships. Before coming to Ruderal she had experience working in the field of architectural and urban design at local firms in Tbilisi, contributing to such projects as the Mziuri Park Reconstruction and the rehabilitation project and the plan for the development of the village Mukhrani. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the Tbilisi State Academy of Art.
Luka Tavzarashvili holds a B.Arch from Abdullah Gul University, Turkey with an integral skillset in architecture and design. He spent a year as an exchange student at the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, where his work focused on architecture in extreme climate conditions. As an intern at Guallart Architects in Barcelona Luka began to practice design at a larger scale in urban competitions, with sites mostly in China. Before joining Ruderal, Luka worked on projects of various scales with one of the leading architectural/urban offices in Georgia.
Zizi is just a few months from completing her degree in Interior Design at the Free University’s School of Visual Arts, Architecture & Design – (VA[A]DS). Since starting at Ruderal, Zizi is putting her Rhino modeling skills to work designing topography and landscape structures. We look forward to working with Zizi this summer and beyond, after a well-deserved summer vacation.
